The problem we are solving
A 1-10 truck roll-off company runs on three things that software keeps getting wrong for them:
- Booking. Homeowners and contractors want to pick a size, see a price and book at night. If your website says “call for a quote,” they book with the next result.
- Turns. A 20-yard can earns money only when it turns. Cans that sit 3 weeks at a job site without an extra-day charge are a quiet leak.
- Tons. Your landfill charges you by the ton. If the scale ticket is not on the invoice, the overage comes out of your margin.
The category leader, Docket, publishes its plan features and card-processing rates but not its subscription prices - its pricing page asks you to schedule a demo. Others (DRS, iCans, Bin Boss) do publish prices; we compare them honestly on best dumpster rental software.

What does dumpster rental software do?
It replaces the whiteboard, spreadsheet and invoice book: taking orders (ideally online), assigning drops, swaps and pickups to trucks, tracking where each container is, and billing rental, overage tons and extra days.
Is there free dumpster rental software?
We have not found a full ordering + dispatch + billing system with a free tier among the roll-off vendors we checked. Our calculators and templates are free; a spreadsheet plus the free invoice template works for a handful of cans.
Who is RollOffDesk for?
Independent roll-off operators with 1-10 trucks, dumpster-trailer businesses, and junk-removal haulers adding roll-offs. If you run 30 trucks with multiple yards, the enterprise vendors are a better fit today.
